Earn Rewards on Purchases

Spotlight Points
Each quarter, one or more merchant categories* will be “spotlighted”. Purchases made during this time will be rewarded with 3 points per every $1 spent.

Lifestyle Points
Gas and groceries are a part of life, why not earn a little extra for those necessities. Purchases made at qualifying merchants* will earn 2 points per every $1 spent.

Everyday Points
All other purchases earn 1 point per every $1 spent.

Redeem Rewards Points For:

Gift Cards

Hundreds of gift card options with national merchants across the country are available in several shopping categories (restaurants, department stores, travel, pets, home etc.) and amounts. Physical cards will be mailed to the primary cardholder’s address on file.

Statement Credit

Cardholders can choose to convert their points to a payment (credit) applied towards their outstanding card balance.

Cash

Cash back option allows cardholders to use their points as a credit to a designated Alliance Catholic Credit Union account (checking or savings) via an ACH deposit.

Travel

Travel options available in the program include flights, hotels, car rental and even complete vacation packages.

Activities / Experiences

In addition to travel packages, we also offer unique experiences for cardholders to book with points. Examples include hot air balloon rides, sky diving, etc.

Merchandise

Hundreds of merchandise items are offered for cardholders to select from including brand name, high quality items. There are products from the home, business, pets, for children and many more categories.

Loan Rate Discount

Qualifying loans** will receive a 0.50% reduction on the interest rate.  To qualify, the borrowed amount must be $10,000 or greater, and the total required reward points must be available at the time of loan application.   Rate discounts can only be redeemed directly with Alliance Catholic Credit Union.     

Point redemption for loan discount are available as follows:

$15,000 - $19,999.99
$20,000 - $24,999.99
$25,000 - $29,999.99
$30,000 - $34,999.99
$35,000 – $39,999.99
$40,000 - $44,999.99
$45,000 - $49,999.99
$50,000 - $54,999.99
$55,000 - $59,999.99
$60,000 and up

Note: 

  • Redeeming points for a rate discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers.  Only one rate discount can be applied to any single loan.
  • Points that are being redeemed for a loan discount must have been earned and available for redemption a minimum of 30 days prior to loan closing.

*Although ACCU does group similar merchant codes in an effort to ensure purchases fall within a stated reward level, ACCU has no control over the merchant category assigned to individual merchants. A merchant, or the items that it sells, may appear to fit within a purchase category that would earn 3, 2 or 1 points, but if it does not use the code for that category, rewards will instead be earned at the 1 point level. Because ACCU does not control category codes, ACCU cannot guarantee that a purchase will qualify for points at the stated point level.

**Mortgage, home equity, credit card loans, commercial loans, overdraft protection line of credit loans, tuition loans, and deposit secured loans are not eligible for rate discounts.
